How safe is NIJ ?

“I keep asking if this school is very safe security-wise?, as the unstoppable stealing of things among the students cannot be underestimated despite the amount of fees paid, does it mean that we cannot be secured in this institution?,” this were the questions raised from the interviews with students, reacting to the security state of the first Premier Monotechnic in Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba Lagos.

With the unexpected and untraceable misplacements and stealing of mobile phones, laptops, bags, not excluding academic materials amongst others in the school premises, have placed paramount and tantamount questions on the lips of students of the institution, raising doubts on the safety of the school.

All I want is family - Paul okoye

As shared minutes ago by Paul Okoye on Instagram.
'All you all want is psquare,...all I want is family, love and care! Social media is the new root of all evil! There's family before Psquare and there will always be family after PSquare ....Jude was only a scape goat and a victim. The person who  has been keeping us together for all these years,..the truth is peter and Paul have issues!.For the first time I decided to do something outside Psquare ,and that is the case study here. I have always supported my brother 100% from His personal endorsements to dance with Peter which some re still on my I.g... Now I have just 3 questions....
Why is it that these things are happening immediately I released muno's singles under rudeboy Recordz. no.2 .. How come after jude stopped managing psquare for over a month now, the problem still exist. No.3 why is he in a hurry to go solo and doing solo?it's very sad, and very heart breaking. I wish these things never came out to the public at first... Now our fans are divided  pls nobody shld support any teamPaul sh*t, I don't need that.. Pls resist from it cos thats evil...and for those of you promoters ,supporting him to be performing  psquare's songs alone on stage, you are only killing us and destroying us the more .Dear brother am begging you ,even if you don't want Jude anymore and you don't want psquare, u re forever going to be my brother ... But I wish the 3 of us could still do these together, bcos its a thing of joy....people love us so much not only because of our good music but seeing brothers doing it together and keeping it together, setting a good example to other families and to our kids.Pls swallow ur pride, forgive and forget, we can still turn these things around.... If I have said anything or done anything that hurts you. Am very sorry.... And to all our true fans pls pray for us. God bless you all.'

FG Set to Provide 3 million jobs in the next 3 years – Vice President Yemi Osinbajo

The Federal Government of Nigeria has promised to create three million jobs in the Technology, Wholesale and Retail, Construction and Allied sectors of the Nigerian economy within the next three years, starting from this year 2016.
This assurance was made yesterday by the Vice President of the country, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, upon receipt of the Strategic Framework and Implementation Plan on Job Creation and Youth Employment in Nigeria.
The plan, according to Osinbajo’s Facebook page, is jointly packaged by the Job Creation Unit of the Presidency and the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, NESG, and is a positive initiative geared towards job creation in Nigeria.
“This year alone, over 700, 000 private sector jobs will be created, majority of which will be in the Agro-allied sector. This private sector-led job creation plan is different from the direct government jobs planned by the Buhari presidency which includes the 500,000 teaching jobs for unemployed graduates,” he said.
While admitting that the process of this job creation is slow, he insisted that President Buhari’s administration was doing all within its power to address any delay.

“The suspects were arrested at about 12. 30 a.m. on March 11 for illegally boarding Merchant Vessel CITRON berthed at Capital Oil Jetty, Apapa, Lagos.
“They were detected and subsequently arrested by our patrol boat,” Adaji said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Adaji handed over the suspects to the Nigeria Immigration Service for further investigation and prosecution.
He also said that the Chief of the Naval Staff,Vice-Admiral Ikot Ibas, had zero tolerance for all maritime crimes in Nigeria’s waters.
He called on criminally-minded Nigerians and other nationals to seek legitimate employment instead of engaging themselves in illegal activities.
One of the stowaways, Olu, said he was not happy with his standard of living which prompted him to attempt to enter Europe illegally.
Another stowaway, Cooper, blamed frustration for his attempt to travel abroad through illegal means.
A representative of the NIS, Lekan Olagunju, a Chief Superintendent, received the stowaways from the Navy.
He said that investigations would continue with a view to ascertaining the claims of their nationalities before they could be prosecuted.
In another development, the Navy also arrested one Mohammed Abubakar, for allegedly impersonating a Seaman Writer in the Nigerian Navy.
While being handed over to the Nigeria Police, Adaji said he was arrested in Lagos.
“The police will further conduct investigations on the suspect,” he said. (NAN)
